During the school year, the PTA coordinates and sponsor the following:
| Cultural Arts | Four Cultural Arts programs during the school year for the students. Parents are welcome to attend. |
| Appreciation for Staff and Supporting Staff | Luncheons for the dedicated staff at Galway. |
| Activity Bus | A second afternoon activity bus so more students can participate in after-school activities. |
| Galway Directory and Handbook | Compilation and production of the Directory and Handbook for the personal use of the Galway families. |
| Field Day | Coordination of volunteers and arrangements for drinks and other supplies that are needed. |
| Hospitality | Donation of refreshments when needed for meetings |
| Kindergarten Orientation | Coordination of activities, supplies, and volunteers for orientation. |
| Newsletter | Preparation and Distribution of monthly newsletter that shares news, events, meetings and facilitates communication between the school and home |
| Patrols | Provision of equipment needed by the school safety patrols. |
| Family Nights | Organization and hosting of family fun nights. |
| Technology | Assistance with the use of technology and webpage maintenance for education |
| Volunteers | Provision of thousands of hours of volunteer service to the school on an annual basis. On any given day, dozens of parent volunteers are in the classrooms assisting the teachers in a variety of capacities. |
| 5th Grade Party | Funds for fifth graders to celebrate their days at Galway. |
| Student Musical | Funds for the student musical. |
| Book Fair | Organization and provision of volunteers for Book Fairs. All proceeds from the Fall Book Fair are donated to the Media Center. |
| Grade Level Items | Provision of funds to support programs and activities that directly benefit the students of Galway. |
